Katherine has been practicing law in the Province of Alberta since 2003 and joined Getz Collins & Associates in June 2020 after working with both National and Regional law firms, including operating her own law firm from 2010-2017.

Katherine practices exclusively in the following areas:

• Family Law (including Divorce, Separation Agreements, Child and Spousal Support, Child custody and access and property division, Cohabitation/Prenuptial Agreements)
• Family Law Mediation services

Katherine routinely advocates for her client in the courtroom, having appeared in the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta and the Alberta Provincial Court. Her preferred method of settlement is by mediation/arbitration, and to date, she has successfully settled most of her matters using a conciliatory process.
