Donna M. Hallett

Donna has worked as a general practitioner in Strathmore since 1993. Her work has focused largely on legal issues for individuals, whether managing major life transitions, like getting married or cohabiting with a new partner, negotiating prenuptial or cohabitation agreements, negotiating the terms of separation or divorce, including parenting arrangements, support and property division, step parent and direct placement adoption, planning for the future with Enduring Powers of Attorney, Personal Directives and Wills, assisting with Estate Administration or buying or selling a home.
In Family Law matters, Donna focuses on protecting her client’s interests while working creatively to craft practical and durable solutions using her mediation and collaborative law training, whether in negotiations, mediation, or litigation. Donna has appeared in all levels of Alberta Courts representing her Family Law clients, including the Court of Appeal.
Donna’s commitment to community has included:
